To make the Nelson Lugger such a pleasure to row it's hull shape is not designed to plane like a fast motorboat. With a bigger engine the Nelson Lugger could become unstable and won't go faster.
It's very simple and easy. Once you've done it a couple of times it shouldn't take more than about 15 or 20 minutes.

The Nelson Lugger is guaranteed against manufacturing faults and defects for the original owner for useable lifetime of the boat. If you are unfortunate enough to damage your Nelson Lugger in an accident then we will repair the boat at a reasonable cost.
